Angela C. Thompson joined the Zumbrun Law Firm as an associate in 2006. She is currently involved in all aspects of the firm’s litigation practice. Ms. Thompson graduated cum laude from the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy in April of 2005. During law school she served as a board member of the Oak Brook Debate Society and as a judge and moderator for student debates. In her final year of law school, she dedicated her thesis paper to an in-depth exposé of the highly publicized “Pledge of Allegiance Case”, formally known as Newdow v. Elk Grove Unified School District, 542 U.S. 1 (2004). Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Ms. Thompson has always possessed a keen interest in politics and a passion for limited and effectual government. Prior to law school she interned with the Home School Legal Defense Association in Purcellville, Virginia and lobbied members of the U.S. Congress on issues affecting home schooling and family freedom. During law school, she worked as a paralegal with law firms in both the Washington, D.C. and Portland, Oregon areas. She and her husband, Dan, recently relocated to Sacramento, where they enjoy hiking, bicycling and enjoying the outdoor activities Northern California has to offer. |
